‘Timeless’ the much-awaited album of Afrobeat singer, Davido, has attained over one million streams on Boomplay in less than six hours of its release.
The album is also currently No.1 album on Nigeria’s Top Albums Chart, UK’s Top Albums Chart as well as in 17 other countries on Apple Music.
Davido announced the release of the 17-track album on his social media platforms in the early hours of Friday.
Appreciating those, who contributed to the successful completion of the album, Davido hails his wife, Chioma Rowland, for her unquantifiable support and also gave a shout-out to his fans and everyone, who ensured the completion of the project.
He also mentioned the process he had gone through from his previous album to the latest. His words on Twitter, “At long last, we are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least.”
It appears singles from ‘Timeless’ album are already topping Sierra Leone’s Apple Music Songs Chart, from number 1 to 17.
