A member-elect, representing Chibok Constituency in Borno State House of Assembly, and former Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation, Nuhu Clark, has died.
Commissioner for Home Affairs, Information, and Culture, Babakura Abbajatau, announced this in an interview, on Wednesday in Maiduguri.
Abbajatau said the Clark died in India on Monday, while undergoing treatment.
He noted that the state government would make an official statement, after speaking with the family of the deceased.
Commenting about the sad incident, the Borno Deputy Governor, Umar Kadafur, described his death, as a huge loss to his immediate family, the people of Borno South, and the state at large.
