Jemiriye Extols Nigerian Models’ Debut For Top Designers In Paris, Milan

Award-winning international artiste and founder of EWA foundation, Adeniji Jemiriye has celebrated young Nigerian models, Obembe Daniel, Oluwasayemidero Oluwafikayomi and Bakare Aliu, for modeling for top international fashion brands.

The trio, who travelled for the first time in January 2024, to Paris and Milan Fashion Week, made a big deal modeling for the likes of Dior, Saint Laurent, etc.

The young models were selected by different fashion designers after applying and sending their videos and pictures for several months, before they got approvals and invites to participate at the Paris and Milan Fashion Week.

One of the young models, Daniel said he just wanted to be a model, and he watched videos, and rehearsed on how to be an international run-way models on YouTube, with supervision from an agency in Nigeria.

In an encounter with the university undergraduates, Jemiriye expressed enthusiasm, saying Nigerian youths are making the country proud in all their endeavors and also combining it with education.

She added that her foundation, EWA, has shouldered the responsibility of encouraging the youths by providing them with the necessary support to succeed.

” I invited them for a dinner in my place in Paris, and I am so happy to see young Nigerian models making us proud at the fashion week, EWA foundation encourage the youth and women to be great.

“One of EWA foundation focus is to feature young black trailblazers across the globe on EWA Global Outstanding youth spotlight,” she said.
