TMG Leader Urges Unity Among APC Aspirants Following Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Victory

Leader of the Tinubu Mandate Group (TMG), Pastor Olufemi Bakare has called on the 15 aspirants, who contested with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the APC primary election to set aside their differences and prioritize peace for the sake of the party.

Pastor Bakare’s appeal comes as he congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa on receiving his Certificate of Return from the National Chairman of APC in Abuja.

He expressed confidence that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory is well-deserved and emphasized the importance of working together for the party’s interest.

Acknowledging Governor Aiyedatiwa’s achievements and positive impact on the party in Ondo State, Pastor Bakare, in a statement today, urged the national leadership of the party to address any misunderstandings among the aggrieved aspirants before it escalates into a deeper crisis.

Highlighting the unity and vibrancy that Governor Aiyedatiwa has brought to the party, Pastor Bakare stressed the need for all members to support the governor’s efforts to reconcile with his co-contestants. He emphasized that the party’s success in retaining leadership in Ondo State is a collective responsibility.

The TMG leader also recalled the group’s symbolic victory dance in Ifedore local Government at the start of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s campaign, underscoring the unity and determination within the party.

In conclusion, Pastor Bakare urged all members of the party in Ondo State to come together as a progressive political family, strengthen their unity, and work towards a resounding victory in the November 16, 2024 governorship election in Ondo State.
