It appears the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has had the last laugh over the leadership crisis rocking the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, afterall.

This coming as a State High Court, sitting in Degema local government area of Rivers State, on Monday, restrained Uche Secondus from parading himself, as the National Chairman of the party.

Wike had been hell bent that Secondus must go, following the mass resignation of members of the PDP’s National Working Committee, NWC.

The members had complained about Secondus’ leadership style which they described as not party friendly and assuring.

In his ruling, the Judge, Justice O. Gbasam also approved the suspension of Secondus, as a member of the party, pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.

The order followed a complaint brought before the Court by some aggrieved members of the party.
