Popular Nigerian Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has hailed the affirmation of the election of Ademola Adeleke as Osun State Governor by the Supreme Court.
The Apex Court had earlier on Tuesday upheld the People’s Democratic Party, PDP’s candidate’s victory in the July 16, 2022 governorship election.
The five-man panel of the Supreme Court led by Justice John Okoro upheld the ruling of the Court of Appeal, which affirmed Adeleke as Governor of Osun state.
The Apex Court, in its judgement, held that Oyetola failed to adduce enough evidence to prove his allegation of overvoting in the governorship poll.
Reacting to the judgment, Davido, in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, said his uncle will continue to shock his detractors.
